ELDOM Hybrid water heaters are innovative products using two sources of electrical energy. They prioritize free solar energy from photovoltaic panels. And the electricity from the transmission network serves only to additionally heat the water through the second heater.

    • This is the cheapest battery of free solar energy.
    • Extremely simplified installation – connecting the water softener to the photovoltaic modules is plug & play, with standard photovoltaic connectors MC4 and cables from 4 to 6 mm².

    • Integrated MPP tracker for maximum power tracking ( MPPT ) to maximize the extraction of energy from the sun. An MPPT or maximum power tracker is an electronic DC/DC converter that optimizes the match between the solar array (PV panels) and the water heater. Simply put, it converts the higher voltage from the DC output of the solar panels to the lower safe DC voltage needed to run the water heater.
    • Special software developed at the University of Ulm, Germany extends the peak maximum power curve and increases solar energy absorption by up to 30%.
    • A direct current heating element is 10% more efficient than an alternating current counterpart using an inverter due to the absence of transformation losses.
    • LCD display providing useful system information such as water temperature and incoming solar energy.
    • It cannot overheat, it cannot freeze.
    • A long distance between the solar modules and the water heater is possible, without heat loss along the route.
    • It requires minimal maintenance.
    • Expensive batteries and UPS are not required for the operation of this system.
    • It is connected to the plumbing network like a standard water heater - with G1/2 pipes.
    • Integrated reverse polarity protection.
