The innovative ELDOM hybrid water heater is designed with the future in mind. It utilizes solar energy—converted directly from photovoltaic panels (without the need for an inverter)—to heat water, while also drawing power from the electrical grid. This product is unique on the Bulgarian market; it not only offers cost savings but, with a sufficient number of panels, can even provide complete independence from the electrical grid.

Beyond its environmental benefits, the new water heater delivers significant cost savings. Once installed, users can enjoy hot water heated—partially or entirely—by the sun, requiring only a minimal amount of electricity. This leads to a substantial reduction in monthly utility costs. 

• Dual Energy Sources – AC/DC
The unit uses solar energy, converted directly from photovoltaic panels (no inverter required), to heat water, alongside power from the electrical grid. For optimal performance, the hybrid water heater must be connected to 2–4 photovoltaic panels (60/120-cell configuration, 400 W per panel, and a maximum open-circuit voltage of 42V). To ensure a sufficient supply of hot water even on the cloudiest days, the unit is equipped with an auxiliary 1500W electric heating element.
